An Internet MBA program is one that is delivered online via distance learning.

Distance learning was around well before the Internet was a common household name.

In fact, there are distance MBA programs that have been in operation for over 30 years.

However, the Internet has had a significant impact on distance learning for all types of degree programs.

Some schools deliver MBA programs fully online. Yet others rely on mail correspondence.

The Internet is a great tool for communication. It also works well for group collaboration. Most of all, it enables MBA programs to be offered without regard to location.
