Adult Education MBA Program

Adult education MBA programs have become more popular in recent years. The schools that offer these programs are commonly referred to as schools for "working adults".Schools like the University of Phoenix or Walden University cater to those adults that want to come back to school to finish a bachelor's degree or those who want to take on a master's degree.

These days, higher education has become more valued. Frankly higher education has become somewhat of a necessity in the United States.

Schools for working adults have satisfied this growing need. Because the MBA is so well-known and so useful, most schools for working adults offer it.

There are two interesting dynamics that have come along with these types of schools. First, they are very non-traditional in nature, so they often do not hold more traditional accreditations (such as the AACSB accreditation). However, many do hold regional accreditation. The second dynamic is that many of these schools for working adults also have online programs. The online delivery offered to working students seems to fit hand in hand.

By its very nature, the adult education MBA is a part-time format. As mentioned above they can also be a distance learning format. Most MBA programs for working adults are not executive style or full-time.

The adult education MBA has proven to fill a gap that many "traditional" schools where not able to fill. Degrees from the likes of the University of Phoenix are accepted and even preferred. This is the right path for many students and may well be for you. Remember, check out all of your options.
